Is this for me?

If you are passionate about leading families to better health through better sleep, and the thought of a thriving career without sacrificing family sounds exciting, then this is for you! Working as a sleep consultant, has allowed us (and our graduates), the freedom and flexibility to do what we love-raise our children and pour into our business.

Giving the gift of sleep and support is such important work and has a tremendous effect on families and individuals. Are you ready???

"I want to thank Rachel for developing and organizing this wonderful training! Special thanks to Lauren for her tremendous support on my way to becoming a certified pediatric sleep consultant! Thanks to Melinda for coaching me in a beautiful way while working with my weekly client, too! I feel both happy about getting my certification and sad because my time with you is over :(. I truly enjoyed completing the practicum hours and think this was the best part of the training! See you on mentorship calls and workshops!"

About the course:

Our pediatric sleep consultant program is evidence based and will provide you with the skills needed to handle unique situations and provide expert based guidance to families and organizations. Our approach is not a one-size-fits all, but rather a development based approach, ensuring that we meet each child where they are based on developmental norms and their unique characteristics.

Each week you will be guided through a new module and you will attend a live lecture, reviewing each module in depth to make sure you understand each concept in depth before moving on to the next.

The curriculum is designed to be completed in 10 weeks before moving on to your practicum hours.

Following your completion of the coursework you will be required to complete 50 clinical hours facilitated by us in order to give you hands-on experience working with families.

We are looking for passionate people who want a thriving career without having to sacrifice family time. One of the best decisions I made 12 years ago was to leave my 60 hour/week job to start this business, which allowed me the flexibility and time to be with my babies. This is a job you can do 100% from home, allowing you the freedom to create your own schedule and directly benefit from the work you put in. If that sounds exciting to you, keep reading!

The details:

+ Our next live training (online) starts January 30th, 2024 and is designed to continue for 10 weeks followed by your required practicum hours. The difference between our "live" version and our 100% online version, is the live training includes a weekly zoom lecture with group interaction and more one-on-one support with an individual mentorship program following graduation, where-as our online version is 100% at your own pace with recorded zoom calls.

Rachel Mitchell is the founder of My Sweet Sleeper, a certified Pediatric and Maternity Sleep Specialist, former night nanny, and mom of seven (soon to be eight). Rachel launched My Sweet Sleeper shortly after having her first son in 2010, once she realized how little support was offered to families struggling with sleep deprivation.

Since starting My Sweet Sleeper, Rachel has worked with thousands of families all over the world and gained the rewarding experience of helping their children sleep better. Her company has grown from offering in-home individual sleep consultations, to creating online courses, an online certification program, writing for major publications such as Motherly, The Bump, The Wall Street Journal, and The Huffington Post, as well as becoming a published author.

In addition to her professional experience she has a Bachelor's degree in Human and Child Development from The University of Massachusetts, and is constantly pursuing a higher education to ensure she is an expert in her field.

She resides just outside of Boston with her husband and children. Rachel enjoys running, cooking, and exploring new ways to manage the chaos that comes with a large family.

"This is truly is one of the most wonderful professions, and I genuinely look forward to each new family I get to be a part of".

You are required to take a refresher course every three years after receiving your certification program in order to stay active in our network and up to date on your certification, which reviews changes within the industry and updated standards.
